  • Nwankwo Lawrence Uchenna is a Lecturer II/ Pharmacist in the Department of Pharmacognosy and Traditional medicine, Faculty of Pharmacy, Delta State University, Abraka, Nigeria. He hails from ibusa in oshimili north local government area of Delta State. He graduated from the prestigious Delta State University, Abraka where he obtained his Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) degree. On his induction/oathtaking ceremony as a Pharmacist in the year 2015, he received the Pharmacists Council Of Nigeria(PCN) Best graduating pharmacy student award and was automatically employed as an assistant lecturer. He is also a recipient of the senator eferakeya award in pharmacology (2015). In January, 2023, he bagged a masters degree(M.Pharm) in Pharmacognosy at the Nnamdi Azikiwe University (NAU), Awka. He is a member of professional bodies such as Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria (PSN) and National Association of Pharmacists in Academia (NAPA) where he currently serves as the secretary of NAPA, DELSU Chapter. He is currently pursuing a Doctorate (Ph.D) degree in Pharmacognosy at Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka.His area of specialization is Drug Evaluation and Quality control. He also serves as the Faculty of Pharmacy Examination officer. In line with his passion towards nurturing future members of the Pharmacy profession, he is also one of the Staff Advisers to the Pharmaceutical Association of Nigerian Students (PANS). Pharm. Lawrence Uchenna Nwankwo is an astute and confident Pharmacist with great multitasking skills. He is committed to research that focuses on Natural product discovery.
