- Area of Specialization: Plant Taxonomy and Molecular Systematics
- Department of Botany
- Michael Ozioma obtained his M.Sc. Botany (Plant Taxonomy and Molecular Systematics), in 2020 from the University of Lagos, Akoka, Lagos Nigeria and a B.Sc. in Botany (first class) from Delta State University Abraka, Nigeria where he emerged the overall best graduating student of the University in 2013/2014 academic session.
His research interest is in application of classical and modern plant taxonomic/ systematics approach in understanding cryptograms (lower plants) and phanerograms (higher plants) to better elucidate their usefulness in everyday life.
